Last year we spoke about an interesting community movement, born in the United States, the Little Free Libraries.
The idea was simple: a family put a wooden box or a shelf in the front yard full of books. Neighbours take a book and leave another one as a replacement. A street is easily transformed into a community, children enjoy the idea of sharing books they like.
But suddenly some people start complaining: “It is illegal. It needs a permission from the local council. They violate the city-code”.
Where all this come from? It is so sad.
